The Cultural Association of Vall de Lord is an institution founded in 1946 by a group of residents of Sant Llorenç de Morunys interested in the history, traditions, cultural heritage and landscape in Vall de Lord.

The new museum – interpretation centre of the Vall de Lord, an ongoing project.

The Vall de Lord Cultural Association has been promoting the protection and conservation of museum collection that bears witness to the history of the Valley. Currently there is an ongoing rehabilitation project architectural spaces that will be occupied by the new rooms of the Museum of the Valley of the Lord in the monastery of Sant Llorenç de Morunys. Currently, the museum has a showroom and organizes all kinds of cultural activities. The visit to the church and cloister has a magnificent complement with the exhibition space.

In agost 2013 has been remodeled museum exhibition moving towards setting referred to in definitive museum project is based on four main explanatory: stone, wood, plaster and wool, four elements representing landscape, heritage and history of the Vall de Lord

Schedule to visit the museum:

Everyday except holydays: Morning from 11 am to 14 pm and evening from 17 to 20 pm

Sundays and holydays: Morning from 11 am to 14 pm.

Free guided visits to the museum on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 am
